Three photo tips!
Less is more
"Less is more..." A proverb that rings true, especially in photography. Try dressing in all one color or with neutral shades for more impactful results. For more pop, try having your friend or family dress in a complementary color to what you are wearing. (In painting, the colors opposite each other on a color wheel.)
Lighting is everything
Lighting makes a huge impact on how a photo turns out. Natural light tends to look more natural, glowing and romantic and strobe lights tend to look more commercial or flashy. In my opinion, golden hour on a sunny day is the best time to get flattering sun soaked portraits, without the harshness of noon day sun.
Love your look
Preparation can make or break a photo session. Choose your location wisely. Choose clothes that you like. Choose a hairstyle you like and get it just right beforehand. Do your nails, especially, if your ring is going to be photographed. Make sure you're comfortable with your appearance the night before.

What are your favorite things?
Photos of me growing up.
I think one of the reason to have professional photography done is exactly this, to be able to look back on your life as it actually happened in addition to how you remember it, and to show others your story with more than words. High quality imagery done by an expert brings your story to life, so much more vividly.
The trouble begins.
It was tough work, but I learned to drive a red Porsche at just three years old.
Photo from Halloween when I was in college with Katelyn, who I had a crush on for the longest time. I was Santa Claus and she was Britney Spears as a pirate. This photo was taken by Michelle Hammer who started schizophrenic.nyc
Photo of me on Block Island by my German friend Benita, after I trained her in camp photography for a summer job.
Photo of me at Grace Farms taken by my Mexican friend Cris, who I also met at camp. In this photo, I was showing him the difference between apertures, this was taken at f2 so the background is more blurred out than the images below which was probably taken at f3.5 by Benita.
I'd dreamed of going to Bali for years, but this ended up being my favorite place in the world, so far. Secret Beach, in Ko Pha-ngan, Thailand
A moody selfie taken after sleeping for nearly a full day, after getting food poisoning in Phuket. The dark backlighting lighting hides how awful I looked and felt, staged this to be nearly monochromatic.
I came to the Nusa Penida treehouse hoping to take some model photos here at sunset, but ended up getting some photos of myself and the Nusa Penida treehouse photographer at the worst time of day for lighting instead, haha. These photos are heavily edited to counteract the almost noon day sun, the shadows are boosted and the highlights are almost completely removed. In retrospect, I'm glad it happened this way to have a few more photos for this section of my website you're looking at now.
Photo of me realizing my version of the American dream, a vacation in Kailua, Hawaii. This was taken by a stranger who I'd just photographed free. There's a lesson here, what you do comes back to you.
On the San Blas Islands in Panama. Photographed by Celina with my Leica Q3. Both of the above photos were color graded with Goodlight presets with the highlights pulled and shadows lifted.
At an Airbnb in Cozumel.
At Coqui Coqui Coba, a hotel started by a model in Mexico. Taken using my phone as a remote for my Fujifilm camera.
