Extra Notes

Editing

The Leica Q2 has almost no editing flexibly and Fujifilm 100SII has the best... but in use the Fujifilm 50SII is the best overall, because the files size won't slow down your entire computer like 100SII and it gives enough dynamic range that you should be happy editing any given photo. Even though it seems like the Fujifilm X100VI, Q2 and Q3 images look nearly the same, with the Leica definitely having straighter lines, they are not the same editing experience. With the X100VI and Q2 you can barely even push it a full stop of over or under exposure before the image falls apart. With the Q3 you can go about two stops in either direction. The GFX are even better at this and the 50SII can go about 2-3 stops in either direction and with the 100SII you can move it about 3-4 stops and crop basically as much as you want for any photo.

In The Field

The Leica Q2 is the easiest to use in the field if, you shoot manual. Fast autofocus and easy to change settings. The GFX100SII is probably 2nd place for this for the same reasons. The X100VI focus point often got stuck at the top right corner for some reason, but other than that it was great. The Q3 probably takes last place, because the autofocus is very difficult, it's either out of focus or taking a picture, because pushing the shutter button down halfway is nearly impossible with it. Then checking the focus is also difficult because the image review is cumbersome. However, for the images quality and portability the Q3 is my favorite camera of the bunch. If Fujifilm were to make compact lens for the GFX they would be by far the best option, but until then the Leica is my top pick.

Photography Style

For portraits, fashion, weddings, or any posed photo, get a Fujifilm GFX, for candids, environmental portraits and travel, get a Leica with a 28mm lens.

That's all fellas!
